Resist, Rebuild and Renew: Arania presents the 3R Framework
Arania presents the innovative 3R Framework at the European Week of Advanced Management, promoted by EUSKALIT. The strategy of the leader in precision cold rolled steel sets the trend at this business meeting point, an encounter gathering promotion and diffusion events for the exchange of good practices and experiences on Advanced Management, held annually between October and November in the European Community. We resist, we rebuild and we renew.
The European Week of Advanced Management is an initiative intended to discuss and focus on different areas of management in times of uncertainty. This event is coordinated by EUSKALIT in the Basque Country.
This edition, broadcasted by streaming due to the sanitary crisis, has focused on four main blocks: management of the crisis, management guidelines, conciliation measures, teleworking and keys to the future of employment, and finally social responsibility and sustainable development objectives.
Arania was the model selected by the event’s organisers to present the 3R Framework, an innovative strategy designed to overcome the challenges raised by the COVID-19 that can benefit the whole socio-economic network, and based on three pillars: Resist, Rebuild and Renew.
Since February 2020, Arania has relied on anticipation and launched early trials to implement teleworking, in addition to the activation of the necessary business procedures to guarantee future security measures as well as the creation of a crisis committee. All these measures were focused on two key aspects: security and business continuity.
From there on, Arania began a process of strategic redesign based on planning new scenarios, in collaboration with the main Basque industrial actors and institutions in the sector. As a result, the business model that Arania had to propose during the crisis was redefined. Usually, customers choose this leading company in cold rolled steel because of its deadlines, price and quality. However, in such an uncertain moment, two key values were selected, as requested by all the collaborators: flexibility and availability.
The solution consisted in establishing a productive strategy based on a flexible and cost controlled manufacturing. Obviously, making the most of resources while maintaining maximum quality required an adjustment of the entire value chain, while preserving Arania’s greatest asset: its employees. Activating the talent of the staff and promoting digital skills have proved to be key tools to guarantee a high quality service, reinforcing the trust of both customers, suppliers and authorities.
By working safely on a daily basis thanks to a clear and effective protocol, the 3R Framework now means expanding expectations and exploring new opportunities, promoting new sectors and strengthening key purchasing factors.
In this European Week of Advanced Management, attention was naturally focused on strategies to overcome the crisis: a whole scenario designed to help companies emerge stronger from this situation, prioritising the most relevant management areas through practical examples such as the Arania 3R Framework, acquiring knowledge and taking actions based on training and good practices.
In spite of an abnormal industrial situation, the Arania quality brand continues to grow as a reference in the industrial sector. We are now facing a unique opportunity to bet on the future, where companies, administrations, suppliers and customers must row in the same direction to assist in the recovery of our economy, inspired by the 3R Framework: Resist, Rebuild and Renew.
